  • OVER 70 FREE LAND BASED GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES- All Adult Group Exercise classes held on land including yoga, cycling, etc. included in membership with no requirement to register in advance.
  • CHILD WATCH - NO COST FOR HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS - Work out, swim, take a yoga class – knowing that your kids are safe and sound in our babysitting area while you work-our. Child watch is open 50 hours a week including Sundays.
  • SCHOOL DAYS OUT– NO COST FOR HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS - The YMCA is the place to be when school is out. Swimming, crafts, games, nutrition, and character development, are just a few activities that will be offered each day.  
  • NATIONWIDE MEMBERSHIP - You can use your card at more than 2,000 participating Y’s nationwide.
  • SWIM CLASSES - When your child turns 3 and 6, he/she will receive a FREE swim class.
  • HEALTH INNOVATION CLASSES - Specialized classes available such as LiveSTRONG at the YMCA, Delay the Disease (Parkinson Program), Pre Diabetes Prevention Program, Arthritis Programs and Super Kids.
  • NO CONTRACTS, STATE OF THE ART FITNESS CENTER, TWO BASKETBALL COURTS, INDOOR AND OUTDOOR TRACK AND  TWO POOLS.

Snow Emergency Closing

Level 1 Snow Emergency is indicated on Marion County Sheriff, mariononline or WMRN’s website, the Marion Family YMCA will remain operational. No closings or delays will be initiated.

Level 2 Snow Emergency is indicated on Marion County Sheriff, mariononline or WMRN’s website, all classes and activities (including Child Watch) will be cancelled starting 45 minutes later. In the event that a Level 2 Snow emergency is declared, the Director on Duty or Relationship Manager will evaluate staffing needs and allow staff, who are not essential to keeping the building open, to leave.

Level 3 Snow Emergency is indicated on Marion County Sheriff, mariononline or WMRN’s website, the Marion Family YMCA will close the facility in 30 minutes.
